Metal Sculpture My metal sculpture is not figurative per se, but rather the skin, the shell that surrounds the body. Also, the imprints that the body makes, for example, in sand or in long grass. The body is the negative space into which we can project ourselves and feel our connection with the earth. Just as iron comes from the ground, I envision these objects like bones unearthed or shells tossed onto the shore.
